early 2000s digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 4800 ED)

Early to mid 2000s digital cameras occupy and interesting space where they were just good enough for the casual shooter but would be quickly replaced by smartphones. They have amazing texture due to their limited number of megapixels. Focus isn't great. Color balance needs adjusting. Shoots very slowly. But you can get photos with real character.
