this 12 year old hand-me-down rice cooker from my parents

The venerable Tiger JNP-1000. Still going strong. On the one hand I'd love for this to break so I can replace it with a fancier Zojirushi, on the other hand there's something quaint about an unsuspecting buy-it-for-life piece of kitchenware. Still makes rice perfectly.
