I think journaling can be a very helpful component of the therapy process. Therapy gives you a safe space with someone you trust, but journaling also gives you a safe space just for your mind. It can be especially helpful for dealing with symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, and every bastard co-morbidity under the sun. Tracking these things isn't a solution to fix your issues, but hopefully it helps you recognize patterns so that you can stop attacks from happening or at the very least soften their impacts.
