A couple of weeks ago in the office I had probably the worst panic attack of my life — I was dizzy, on the verge of throwing up, my extremities were numb, I couldn't breath — and a coworker stopped and checked in on me. He told me who he was and said that it had been a while but we worked on a few projects in the past together. He admitted he had never come across a situation like this before and didn't know what to do but immediately went to get help. He found a couple members of my team and they were able to slowly bring me down to baseline. It was very touching; We hadn't seen each other since the pandemic and I had changed physically a significant amount yet he still recognized me even though in the moment I did not recognize him. Even in a difficult circumstance when he didn't know what to do, he still made sure that I got the help I needed.
